Kennels and Catteries. Some take in strays so if you are looking for a rescue animal give them a call.

The Cat's Whiskers

200 Northfield Rd, Birmingham B17 0TD, UK – 0121 428 1234

This is a fantastic cattery with very good facilities - all the cats looked well cared for and happy. The drive up to the cattery is narrow and Harborne golf course has a right of way from hole to the next tee so go slow and watch out for cars coming round the corner at the end by the veterinary.

Never left my cat before and was a little apprehensive but these guys were wonderful. True animal lovers and genuinely kind people. Lovely place, great atmosphere. Even when I was a nightmare and kept changing my dates around due to work, they were such stars. Thank so much, will definitely use again in the future.

Orchard Veterinary Centre

Home Farm, 236 Northfield Rd, Birmingham B17 0TD, UK – 0121 428 1777

I have used a lot of local vets called today as I've had a puppy and booked the pup in for this evening and got to say it's the best vets I've been to. Vet welcoming and helpful full of advice and very friendly towards the pup I would highly recommend. I live 5 minutes away and never knew it was there

We've been bringing our dogs here for 12 years and have never had a bad experience. The reception and nursing staff are all friendly and efficient and Emma, the vet we see, is fantastic. I have trust in all the staff that they will do what is best for the animals rather than what will make the practice the most money. The Health Scheme is good and I would recommend Orchard to any pet owner

Vets

White Cross Vets, Birmingham - Kings Heath

283 Alcester Rd S, Birmingham B14 6EB, UK – 0121 444 4388

I’ve been using White Cross for my dogs vaccines and other needs for some years now, we always see smiley faces on arrival and the vets always make my boy feel at ease during his checkup’s. I’ve just got his first passport so he can join us abroad later this month, the staff have been so helpful throughout the whole process. Definitely 5 star service.

I’m really happy with all the services this branch of White Cross offers. They’ve always been very helpful in confirming an early appointment and in treating our cat with gentle dignity. Thoroughly recommend.

Great friedley cheap vets. Takes time with your pet .No rushing you.

Lovely place. Quick to get seen and by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Got our dog sorted there when she had kennel cough, staff were brilliant and she made a swift recovery for a dog of her age.

My dog Ben needed a vet on a Sunday. My other vets were closed and the out of ours too far away for me to go. I rang and they booked me an emergency app within an hour. The vet gave him some painkillers and booked operation for the Monday. Very pleased with the service and for the price! I’m not going back to my old vets. The receptionists were very understanding and the nurses and vets very approachable!

Very kind and caring over the past couple of years to my Rabbit, Ploppy, especially when she was really ill, they kept her warm, safe & comfortable in her final moments before she died. I adopted another Rabbit from them who was already named Trixie, but during a health check & vaccination, found out it was a Boy! Trixie is now re-named DUGGIE, if you could change it on your system Please!
