Sabai Sabai - Moseley

25 Woodbridge Rd, Birmingham B13 8EH, UK – 0121 449 4498

Nice food and a good friendly atmosphere, fairly expensive.

Excellent food. Highly recommend the chicken pad thai. Sabai Sabai has three branches in Birmingham. For the best Padthai go to the Woodbridge Rd, Mosley branch.

Royal Watan Kashmiri Restaurant

602-604 Pershore Rd, Birmingham B29 7HQ, UK – 0121 471 1713

Amazing food and they cater for slimming world customers. Service was also really good, everyone was super friendly and made the whole evening really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend and will be going again. Yogi's

First visit on Saturday night and was amazed how good the place is, service was by far the most friendliest and caring staff, food was of high quality & excellent flavours unique taste to every dish I had the grandma recipe blew my mind away. Will definitely be returning customer.

Omar Khayam

711 Bristol Rd S, Birmingham B31 2JT, UK – 0121 477 2161

Me and my friends go to a different indian restaurant once a month. We split the bill and typically we end up paying around £25 each for a starter a mains with a side or two and some drinks. At Omar Khayam we ended up paying £40 each! The food was nice, but not that nice that it justified us each paying £15 more than any other indian restaurant. So, as I would recommend the place for the food, there are plenty of other restaurants which are equally as good and which are cheaper. Also they have a pretty big fish in what is a tiny fish tank which I strongly disagree with!

Difficult to fault. Food and service was excellent! I would highly recommend.

Kababish

29 Woodbridge Rd, Birmingham B13 8EH, UK – 0121 449 5556

One of the better establishments in the area, one that I have visited a few times with friends who live nearby and visit more frequently. There is a good variety of freshly cooked authentic meals on the menu, and vegetarians and those with certain dietry requirements are well catered for. The staff are very friendly and polite, but don't expect fast service - the food is prepared to order from fresh ingredients, but is well worth the wait. The only thing that lets it down for me, is the shortage of parking in the area, otherwise a full 5 star restaurant.

I really like Kababish, the food is great and the restaurant is quite pleasant. My only issue is that, at least on this occasion, the service was well below par. It all fell apart after our meal when we ordered desserts and drinks. A large table of about 16 had settled in and we were forgotten. They had to take our orders twice and then my Irish Whiskey and a decaf coffee went astray. Half an hour later and only after we pursued the issue did they finally show up. I expect better but have to say staff were friendly, if a little aloof.

indioz

107 Alcester Rd, Birmingham B13 8DD, UK – 0121 449 9292

Went on a friend's recommendation glad I went. Food is fair priced and the portions are big. Food tasted great no faults. Staff are very friendly. Will be visiting again soon. Thanks

Great food +u can take ur own drinks

Sylhet Spice Cuisine

27-29 York Rd, Birmingham B14 7SA, UK – 0121 444 3406

Food is made to perfection. Massive credit to the skilled chef. I was truly surprised with the number of positions on the menu which was maybe most I ever seen in this sort of restaurant. This place is a true example of why people are going out to eat. Atmosphere is amazing, good service each customer is well looked after and the food is very memorable ..It does not happen much in life that whatever we order turns up to be all a great choice: however with this restaurant each items I ordered became my favourite for the sake of how good it has been. I wish each of my visit in Birmingham ended up in that place only.

Amazing food and service. I would recommend trying something new here the best curries I have had are the ones I did't know about before ordering. Saying that they are all good

Bella Venezia

54 High St, Birmingham B14 7JZ, UK

fantastic service - thank you staf- and the food was superb - the best steak and finest quality veal we've eaten for a long, long time. Beautifully presented and served. Have already recommended the restaurant to many friends and we look forward to returning. Many thanks to the chef who prepared and served such a delicious meal. The mixed vegetable was excellent - at least 6 veg - not the normal carrot, broccoli and peas. Thanks to all 10/10

Great authentic Italian restaurant, a hidden gem in plain sight. Loved the ravioli specials.

Ponte Di Legno

44 Woodbridge Rd, Birmingham B13 8EJ, UK – 0121 449 8064

Lovely food and great service. We were the last ones in and weren't made to feel uncomfortable as we stayed chatting for a while. Great place!

Super food and service .Can get very busy Fri/sat nights

Frankie & Benny's

Battery Park, Birmingham B29 6ST, UK – 0121 414 0049

Lovely food. Dessert was a massive thumbs up. Used the taste card so got 2 for 1 which is even better. Staff were friendly and attentive. Slight issue with the volume of background music being too loud occasionally but over all a nice place to eat. We will be returning

Used to be good and have previously given this a good rating. Food is good, but recently the service seems to take longer - perhaps less experienced staff. Drinks orders took ages to arrive at the table (separately as well), even though the restaurant was not at full capacity. Also got the food order wrong which was corrected.

Bohemian Cocktail Bar + Kitchen

Salisbury Chambers, Alcester Rd, Birmingham B13 8JE, UK – 0121 442 6593

Great RnB bar. Staff are very friendly and professional. Good mix of people who love urban music. Would definitely recommend

I were outside in the square... Not here! But is a good place to eat and drink and be merry...

Fletchers Bar and Eatery

7 York Rd, Birmingham B14 7SA, UK – 0121 443 4725

Nice locally owned independent bar. Great for a drink or food. Or both!

Lovely and cute place for intimate acoustic gigs. Nice food and choice of beer. One bartender was nice but older one was rude.

The Cuban Embassy (The Bulls Head)

23 St Mary's Row, West Midlands, Birmingham, Birmingham B13 8HW, UK – 0121 258 2857

A great way to extend a night out beyond traditional closing hours. Great atmosphere, great live latin music, overall a top night.

What an excellent place to spend an evening!! Great atmosphere, food and drinks. In the evening the live band played upstairs which was amazing, very cosy venue with wonderful cocktails.

Used to be really nice food. Just had chicken in satay sauce which now includes a couple of mushrooms and chopped chillies. No where near as nice as previous. Plus everything was wet.

Very nice. Beautiful. Excellent

Rainbow Restaurant

59 High St, Birmingham B14 7BH, UK – 0121 444 4195

Another fantastic find, fantastic food and service, from the outside it does not look much but if I used the impression I got from the outside of restaurants at any time I would miss out on too many gems like this one. All of the normal trimmings as expected in a traditional Canton restaurant, thankfully they did not waste any money by giving fortune cookies as I do not like them. Sorry no photo, too good to share, I ate it all!

Visit it regularly as the food is great. Prices are reasonable and staff are very pleasant

Birmingham Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

Akram Kashmiri Restaurant

1526 Pershore Rd, Birmingham B30 2NW, UK – 0121 433 4320

Very welcoming visit. Its the first time i have eaten there, a friend took me. Lovely staff and very good food. Very clean and a good atmosphere. Would easily return again. Thankyou.

Have eaten here several times now. Great food, soooo tasty! Staff are too excellent. Highly recommend 😁

Kings Indian Dining

13-15 York Rd, Birmingham B14 7SA, UK – 0121 443 1114

Great food, nice restaurant, separate extensive vegetarian menu. Bring your own booze.

Nice surroundings, fantastic food. The dishes were well seasoned, not overpowered with spices. Prices very reasonable (around £15 for a starter, main course and sundries - free poppadoms to start). There is a separate vegetarian menu and a lot at fish options. No "English" menu items, so I recommend speaking to the staff to alter the intensity of other dishes.

The Spice Exchange

1845-1847 Pershore Rd, Birmingham B30 3DJ, UK – 0121 458 5707

Excellent food, always consistent. Good point of Cobra too 🙂

Always excellent! Guaranteed a great meal every time. Friendly service, fabulous food, worth the wait as it is always cooked fresh. Highly recommended.

Wetherspoons

25-29 Alcester Rd S, Birmingham B14 7JQ, UK – 0121 441 6710

I eat here quite a lot the food is good and great value for money, nice selection of beers from around the world and the staff are friendly. Food normally served within 10minutes from the moment you order so service is quick the empire state burger is great as are the stakes I've never had a bad meal here. 👍thumbs for the pear tree kings heath.

Average weatherspoons boozer, nice staff, food was ok, cooked properly but no presentation or love put in to the dishes. I proberly wouldn't eat here again but it's ok for a drink.

The Patrick Kavanagh

142 Trafalgar Rd, Birmingham B13 8BX, UK – 0121 449 5176

A pleasant enough pub, although some of the bar staff seem a bit superior (this might be a Moseley thing), some decent beers, a good jukebox and a fantastic weekly (Wednesday night) comedy club run by Jay Hansen of Fat Penguin.

Great refurb, toilets are much better. Still has a good beer garden

The Station

7 High St, Birmingham B14 7BB, UK – 0121 444 8749

Fantastic. They have amazing gigs here every week. Staff are friendly & very efficient. We've always had a happy time when visiting this pub in the High Street, Kings Heath.

Lovely little pub, the staff are friendly & the atmosphere is great. I watched the England matches here for the world cup & it was excellent in the beer garden. Food is great & just a nice place to visit. 👍
