Usually quite polite but pointing things out on my face that I havent asked for I dont find appropriate. I went in asking for my eyebrows done and the woman starred at my upper lip and said what about your upper lip? And she said it needed doing and i should have it done and give her money. I just found it really rude. Wont be going again.

Worked there for a few months and still go in voluntarily from time to time. Excellent selection, lovely staff, great shop all round. You'll find plenty of great books in here and all sorts of obscure singles on CD and vinyl as well as your standard selection of albums. Lovely kids section too.

A little pricey, but with good stock. Not too sure if their electronic bargains can defeat the bargains available online however.. I would do a little research before you buy, and not be tempted by sudden deals.

Ì always visit the Works when in Northfield Shopping Centre. They offer very attractive bargains - especially in the non-fiction books section. Their cheap art materials are ideal for rough sketching.

Ive used this shop a few times now and found the prices are cheap. The guys do all they can to get you the parts as quick as possible too. If your looking for reliability then use this place, forget motorworld & Car Spares because you will not be disappointed.

I called them today as I didn't know which part I needed as there were 2. They ordered both and said they would send the one back I didn't need. I'm not a regular customer either. Very helpful people.

ECP as a shop is good however PARK OUT BACK as people from the industrial estate will try and charge you for parking "in front of their offices"

Regularly visit them - check you've got the correct stuff before you leave as there are occasional inaccuracies in aftermarket part lists. Pro tip: always ask the cashier what his best price on everything is!

Having get fed up of my local garage fobbing me off and taking ages with repairs.. I contacted this garage as recommended by a friend, my car had broken down outside Cadbury... Not only did they go to my car within the hour on the same day... They also advised me NOT to get it repaired as it would cost way too much and was basically fxxked!!! When I asked what the call out charge was they very kindly said "You're OK, you're going through enough losing your car"!!! How bloody nice was that!! These guys are genuine honest hard working people and I will always return to them after that!! Definitely 5 stars. Thanks guys, you have put my faith back into trusting someone NOT to mess me about... Xxx

John of ASG has been repairing my cars and vans for over 20 years now. He is one of those honest reliable blokes you just love to deal with. His missus - Kate - acts as his receptionist. Always has a delightful chuckle!! He also helps me out with any other mechanical problems - normally connected with my circus workshops. If you find somebody good - take full advantage of them!! Called in 9.30am asking if a bike was in stock . Gentleman Matt was very lovely and polite . They had one and I got a call back in two hours saying it was built and all ready for me to collect it . I am sure most stores are busy on Saturday's but this was impeccable customer service. I am thrilled with my purchase :) thanks alot .

I have used Bristol street ford Kings Norton for a few years now and can’t rate them highly enough. The latest, I was wanting to trade in my Fiesta and wanted a Focus, low mileage with the large menu screen and not white. I was dealt with by Anthony, he was very knowledgeable and honest, as he talked me out of some things I was asking, which probably would have made me spend more. He searched the database of cars to find me the perfect car which was quite painstaking, as I was being very picky. The car had to come from Stoke and was ready for me within 3 days. I was given all the numbers of who to call if I have any problems so peace of mind. A very easy and comfortable experience from start to finish.

I wasn’t sure where to post this review as these were all for the ‘Sales’ department but I had to write in to tell you of the fantastic experience I had from start to finish with a young man called Reece from your parts department in Birmingham Kings Norton. My dad had recently had a Hernia operation and had tasked me to find a part for his Ford Focus. Obviously, I had no clue, where to find this part and after ringing several other garages to no avail I began to think that I may have to ask my dad for help (something I don’t like admitting to do). When ringing Bristol Street Motors, Reece provided an exceptional service and kept me up to date for every part of the process while he obtained the part for me. He even went out his way to source the part from somewhere he wouldn’t usually get parts from and very kindly chased the delivery so that I would get the part sooner than expected. When arriving at Bristol Street Motors and asking for Reece, he instantly greeted me with a warm and kind smile, putting me at ease being in car garage. While I could tell he had a lot of work to do, with lots of other colleagues asking him questions, he quickly put my needs first and got the part for me, asking if I needed help to my car. As my dad was left stranded in the car suffering with his hernia, Reece very kindly took the part out to the car and insisted on talking to my dad to give him some extra advice about the car and the part he had ordered for us. Reece is a credit to Bristol Street Motors and will clearly go the extra mile to make sure his customers are looked after and get exactly what they need. He should be given special recognition as I can’t praise him enough for how polite and thoughtful he was and we will definitely be visiting again in the future for any other parts which are needed for my dad’s old banger (I hope he doesn’t read this).

Great service received today. I phoned in the morning to view a car. Was able to arrange a test drive for an hour later. The salesperson, Richard, was very pleasant and helpful. He provided a lot of detail about the car, advised of additional options but was not pushy. I ended up ordering the car. Highly recommended.

Annual service (and mass airflow sensor replacement under warranty). Both carried out perfectly and car runs much better now. Sensible prices and excellent service desk staff contributed to a stress free visit.

Really great cinema. Sometimes a bit automates for my tastes though. There are days when it seems like people don't actually work there and but for people selling popcorn and cola. That said staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very family fun friendly.

This is where I get gas on my way in and out of Birmingham while travelling to the city for work. Its got enough pumps and usually isnt busy. its well lit and in a great location. They also have Diesel if needed.

Sells petrol and alcohol, 24 hours a day no less. Not a traditional combination but useful to know about in a pinch.

Open 24 hours which can be helpful. A bit pricey on food etc, but guess this covers the 24 hour service.

The young Asian lady that works there is very friendly and efficient. Fuel prices not always the cheapest and there's no option to pay at pump unless you download the Shell app. Can get busy at times. Good selection of items in the shop.

Absolutely superlative service. I was a total and utter pain, but Jon and Pete were fantastic. Jon kept me informed constantly by text and my bike was fixed (attempted theft to ignition barrel and top yoke) to a standard beyond my expectations. They both did their best at every turn, and Jon was very polite and very professional in the face of my inexcusable impatience. I can't fault Chas Mann and would definitely trust them with my pride and joy again any day.

I have to say that since coming under new management this place has gone from strength to strength. Really helpful, great attitude, and good service. If you are into retro bikes, or after a great used machine, or into the classic scooter scene, this a place well worth a visit.

This is without a doubt THE best pharmacy, advice and service I have ever experienced in 10 years of trying most pharmacies in South Birmingham. Pharmacists and staff are so friendly, discreet and know their customers by face and name whether from months at a time. They go out of their way to provide health and medicine advice that is an asset to the whole NHS... And they are open til very late and on weekends. Simply brilliant

Such a wonderful shop offering the most beautiful choices of quality children’s toys, organic clothes and other items. As a family we all love visiting Sember, our children are made so welcome with a selection of toys readily available for them to explore and play with while we are free to browse. They are also welcome to look around and touch things freely with us without worry. The customer service is above and beyond expectations, Sue will go out of her way to help and order additional items or different sizes where possible. Overall a 5* experience always.

This shop is actually beauty personified into shop form, I live in Bristol but when ever I go to Birmingham, I always stop by a Sember. How a high street toy shop should be. Great selection, great brands, and great service! Shopping online is also super easy with great choices and free shipping over £30 (easypeasy to spend that!!!) highly recommended!

After having bad experiences with other computer shops I found this shop through a Friend's recommendations. I am pleased to say I had excellent service provided to me. The work I required done quicker then the given timescale and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend computer express to anyone as they give a quick reliable and honest service.

Excellent Service providers deserve full marks for sure. I have always found the owner very honest and straight forward in his dealings. Gives the best possible solution to any matters relating to computers or printers and related products and his charges are very reasonable. I would recommend Computer Express to anyone. In fact my friends even from other Birmingham areas have used them and found them to be good in all aspects.

In response to R Twyford: Unfortunately he doesn't and didn't under the process. Mr Twyford advised us that he wanted data recovered from his laptop. He was informed that the process could take days, weeks or even months to recover depending on the damage to the hard drive and baring in mind there was a large dent in the keyboard area, it would more than likely take several weeks. We also advised Mr Twyford that the laptop would need to be stripped in order to access the Hard Drive as it was a sealed unit. He was ok with this and informed us he only wanted the data recovered and didn't want to keep the laptop. The Hard Drive had received impact damage and was in a very poor state, so the initial process to extract the data took 3 weeks. Mr Twyford was informed of this at the start of the process. After the 3 week period Mr Twyford was contacted again to be advised data had been recovered but it was not readable. This meant that the data would have to be pieced back together, which would take months, rather than weeks. Again Mr Twyford seemed happy with this. However he would then arrive at the shop every so often to see whether his data was ready. Unfortunately we could only advise that we were continuing with the recovery and that we would contact him as soon as we had a breakthrough. After several weeks (approx a month) Mr Twyford was informed that only a small percentage of the data was able to be recovered to a reasonable state. At this stage we advised Mr Twyford that it would be highly unlikely for us to be able to recover any more data, but, there were a few more options we could try. He was also advised that there would be no charge up to this point and that we wouldn’t be spending any significant amount of time on the recovery. We further advised him we would only look at it if we had any quiet periods. We were more or less doing it as a favour at this stage, as we would not charge until or unless we recovered any significant amount of data. Once again Mr Twyford seemed to understand and be happy with this. Over the next 4 weeks Mr Twyford came to the shop several times and was informed exactly the same each time, “still no breakthrough, but happy to keep trying”. The last time in the shop, Mr Twyford decided he didn’t want to wait any longer and started to threaten us with legal action. Even though we hadn’t done anything wrong and had been straight and honest with him (and also hadn’t charged him a penny). We asked on what grounds, but Mr Twyford then started ranting that he wanted his laptop back. We calmly informed him that the laptop was in pieces in our recycling bin as it needed to be stripped back and he had told us he no longer required the laptop. Mr Twyford then demanded we put the laptop back together whilst he waited. Our response was, in order to do this there would be a £45 charge, which he didn’t want to pay. We then offered to put it back together free of charge, but he would have to wait 2 weeks or he could take it as it was in pieces. He elected to take it in pieces. Even though Mr Twyford now had his components back and a portion of his data on a flash drive, he continued to hurl abuse at our staff and kept threatening to come behind the counter. He eventually left after FOUR hours. Our only failure in this is that we tried to help someone (free of charge), where we should have said sorry there is nothing further we can do. Thanks to Mr Twyford this is now our policy.

What an excellent bike shop, real enthusiastic and helpful staff. I bought a giant road bike, I had already decided what I wanted after careful consideration of other models and makes. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable and the customer care was great. The new bike was set up perfectly for me (free of charge) and indeed this saves a lot of aggro with weeks of tweaking and expensive bike fits. Strongly recommend -,please support your local bike shop as bike was same price as online. What I also found really useful is that they have a decent website . Great shop.

I popped in on the off chance, on Saturday morning to enquire about having cleats fitted to my shoes. I had the cleats and after attempting to fit them myself I was left with some spare parts, which it turns out weren’t needed for my shoe type. Expecting to be asked to come back at a later date, the gentleman asked if I had the shoes with me and proceeded to fit them straightaway! He didn’t just screw them in but made a visual assessment of my feet alignment and height and also advised me on the best way to clip the shoes into the pedals. He was very polite and helpful, and the atmosphere in the shop was very welcoming, with great carmaraderie amongst their customers. To top it all he didn’t charge me for the fitting. THANK YOU very much to the member of staff for your time this morning, which I really appreciated. Excellent service all round, and highly recommended.

I visited to get some advice on Tubeless wheels. Very knowledgeable and very happy to help. Took a set of wheels in to be trued too, very reasonable pricing and done with great speed - much better than the 2 month waiting time at Evans!

My mate fell off his pushbike and the rim buckled. We were miles away from home and wasn't parked anywhere near a train station so needed to get his bike fixed. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and they had just what we needed when Halfords didn't! Fast and professional service received. Two happy customers!

Like any other Homebase - it's a DIY+ shed. So they got some garden furniture and quite reasonable quality kitchens as well the usual - paints, tools, flooring, tiles, electrical, etc. Tends to be quite expensive and choice may be limited. Good parking, wheelchair access. Assistants are helpful but have no expertise. Better competition out there.

Quick visit today. Ì found everything Ì needed without difficulty. Homebase has been in this smaller building for some time now but range of goods still very wide. Prices OK.

This Toolstation is located inside the Wickes store, something I didn’t previously know. I went to this Wickes as it’s literally up the road from where I live and after I’d been online and seen the items I was after. I couldn’t find one of the items that I desperately needed and the helpful lady at the deliveries desk checked for me and told me that the item was out of stock but that one was available in their Hall Green store. Letting out a sigh of disappointment she kindly suggested I pop over to the Toolstation to see if they had a similar item. I queued for about 5 minutes and was then served by a helpful young chap. I explained the situation to him and showed him my list. After checking on his computer he showed me a similar item to the one sold by Wickes. Not only was it slightly larger, an extra 50g, but it was £1.75p cheaper! I took it and then said that I’d like to pay for the other item I had which I picked up from the shelf at Wickes earlier on during my search. He said that that it wasn’t one of their products and that I had to pay for it at the Wickes counter. Before I could say anything he looked at it and said that they stocked a similar product and that it was cheaper. He came back a minute later and offered me that item and it was the same as what I had picked up but £2.00 cheaper. Naturally I took it. I not only got what I came for but saved a few quid too. Top marks. Can’t fault the service or the products bought. From now on I will be coming here again. It’s cheaper and the customer service is top notch. Thanks.

Caroles flowers are special. She did the most wonderful spray and garland for my Mums funeral casket, and it looked beautiful. It uplifted our spirits to see such natural flowers. Having seen photo's of Caroles work, I think she has such a lovely talent, and I cannot praise her work enough.

What a wonderful little find. We're staying locally for a weekend and wandered down to Moseley to find somewhere to eat. Saw this place and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did. Amazing dishes at a really reasonable price. Dishes were generous, a bit like tapas, all flavours were extraordinary, great depth of flavours. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Yes, absolutely recommend and only wish it was in a Manchester suburb and not Birmingham.

Great variety of foods which you can't just pop to Sainbury's for. Good vegetarian/vegan selection. I love popping in when I'm passing to get a pot of olives or some cannoli (god I hope my husband doesn't read this). The gentleman who runs this little shop is very knowledgeable and helpful although I think I test his patience when I rush in on my way home from work for something random but he usually has what I need! Lovely shop!

Great little place. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. I recently got to try their fresh, handmade cannoli for the first time and it was fantastic! Crunchy shell, fresh ricotta filling & topped with a maraschino cherry, all as it should be! I haven’t yet had coffee or food here yet but will definitely be going back to try these. This is a very small place so seating is limited - but they do offer takeout as well. They also have a small but good selection of imported Italian products. Definitely recommended!

Great health food / vegan / eco friendly shop! They have a huge range of products - beauty, remedies, household, & food. I think most things are reasonably priced (a little expensive as these things usually are, but not too much so). They have a refill centre for ecover washing up liquid which is good. The only negative about this place is that the staff never seem very friendly! Though they are helpful if you need some advice.

It's quite small, probably just a fraction smaller than the one in the bullring. I'd wanted to buy some liquid vitamin D and prior to visiting this store I had been to 2 other Holland and Barretts. The one in town that has opened recently on the old Dorothy Perkins site and the one in the Swan centre, both of which are larger than this store and neither stocked what I wanted. Just to point out, the sales assistants in ALL the Holland and Barretts are very friendly and helpful and the person that I encountered here was no different, quick to help.

Lovely little garden centre very easy to walk to and pleasant to look round however the cafe could do with improving, it was a tad expensive for the quality of the food and drink, service was lovely and the waitress happily changed my partners drink and they were kind and helpful but I think the food and drink needs to improve to match the price. Also I would suggest serving drinks in glasses especially as we were sat in as opposed to plastic cups which seems counter intuitive when the cafe has made the effort to provide paper straws and recyclable napkins.

I wanted to make hanging baskets and chatted to the man in the garden centre. He was extremely informative and helpful about how to do it and the different types of plants. I’ve always had great experiences with the staff there and thoroughly recommend it.

Well stocked store but basics are pricey compared to DIY stores.

I visited this shop hoping they could help me with my Engagement Ring and Eternity Ring, over 30 years of marriage my fingers have got bigger, so need advise. The professional help from the staff was superb, with no pressure sales talk. The value for the work carried out and length of time taken on the rings, was spot on. The rings came back looking brand new, even had my Wedding Ring cleaned. I will definitely be using this shop again, and hugely recommend it. All the staff are very helpful and welcoming.

Gemini by name gem by nature. A rare find,old school guy who knows what hes doing. And you know what, his prices for watch repairs and even fitting batteries are SO reasonable.Refreshing change from the chain store shoe repairers that in my view offer this service and charge twice the price of a run of the mill watch just to change a battery. I havent bought any precious gems or jewellery from them,but would definatly trust them to do an honest deal. He also did some repairs for me more or less straight away! TOP DRAWER

I am really pleased with the after sales service from this company. Bought a pair of walking trousers at the Caravan and Camping show in Manchester in Jan 18. Developed a problem and was going to contact them but they were also at the Badminton horse trials. Replaced without a question. Not even needing proof of purchase. I think these guys are really ethical and highly recommended.

This place is a hidden treasure. They have second-hand boots at the back of the store and you can pick up some real bargains there if you're prepared to get down and root through all the pairs. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service.

Great Selection one of the best outdoor clothing stalls I have ever been to, staff were spot on always there to assist and very friendly, it was at the Royal Highland Show and had to pay one last visit before I left, its not often I do that, great online shop as well, a great selection of clothing and well done guys great show and hope to see you next year, already joined their online service.

Let me just say what a great pet shop this is. I have been a regular for years and the customer service is 👌. Just a couple days ago I brought quite a big crested gecko terrarium and they delivered it same day within 15 mins of me getting home despite them being quite busy. I would really recommended going.

Great store with all sports essentials and many more non-sports related items such as shoes, shirts, jackets etc. It's always easy to find what you are looking for and the staff are always attentive and pleased to help out. Ample parking in this retail park and Sports Direct's always affordable prices and generally great quality mean this shop needs to be always visited when searching for items of this nature.

Good and bad. Great selection, some good bargains, but beware they don't give 12 months guarantee like other stores. After 6 months I only got a credit voucher.

Limited women's items. Had to wait 10 mins for trainers and a further 10 mins to be served at the till. Music was way too loud.

Over priced sometimes

Although the products here are slightly on the expensive side, which is why I took one star off, the service was brilliant. The man that dealt with my mum and I was extremely friendly, very helpful and informative. The store has a very large range of products and there was plenty of room to move around, wheelchair users would also be able to move around very comfortably. Other than what I have said I found it was quite a task to try to drive in and out of the complex that the store is situated in. So be prepared to be stuck in some traffic during entry and exit.

Great shop so much choice it's hard to come to a decision. A little difficult to get the attention of sales assistant but at least they're not to pushy

We used this company, for a small display at a birthday party. The arrangement was delivered and placed exactly on time, and was excellent. We were very pleased.

Called this shop today for advice about silicone moulds and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Really knew what he was talking about. And when we called in later there were some awesome cakes on display - like the Green Goblin from Spiderman and The Grinch. Way cooler than I was expecting for a cake shop!
